Greetings everyone. Welcome to Le Blogue #4!
This edition was an absolute pleasure to compile. Thank you to everyone who contributed towards the end product, whether your story features in the print or not.
As usual, everything fell together about two days after the self-imposed printer deadline had passed. Last-minute changes can really make or break something, especially when those “last minutes” are two days.

Fifteen Shirts
When someone says “sport”, what is your reaction?
For me, I think about small things. The cold air at early morning training. The late nights under the lights. The funny moments in the dugout. Eating cornflakes for breakfast on tours. Nervous team talks. Pre-game routines. Running onto the field and then... nothing.
I never think about the times we won or lost; I think about the memories made in the process—the journey. That’s what I enjoy about sport.
Anyway. Sport. Le Blogue. This entire episode is themed around 15 shirts we created for Batshise Football Club, a local soccer team from Delft.
Batshise’s simple story needed a simple platform with a supportive readership. As a result, Le Blogue #4 steps into the world of sport for a quick moment.
Don’t worry. There won’t be any mention of fixtures, tactics, teamsheets or results. Instead, the following pages highlight a few life lessons learned through high-performance sport and fitness.
The lessons come from personal experiences and the stories are written in the simplest way.
Excuse the lack of humour, creativity and vocabularic dexterity... we are sportspeople after all. Enjoy!
