Le Quote π£
βSukhwaza usesehlathini.β β Malwande Blayi.
Meaning: βIf you are still in the jungle, donβt shout.β
Le Word π¬
jungle (noun) a situation or place of bewildering complexity or brutal competitiveness.
Le Shoutout π§£
On Saturday, I went to Mohammed for a haircut.
As I walked in, a man looked at me:
βIt doesnβt look like you need your hair cut,β he said.
I agreed.
I didnβt need my hair cut, but I needed a haircut.
So, I sat in the chair, shook Mohammedβs hand, and looked at myself in the mirror.
βDo you like my moustache?β I asked him.
βYes, it suits your purpose,β he replied.
βAnd whatβs that?β I asked.
βShowing solidarity with others,β he said casually.
I smiled. The haircut had started, yet no hair had been cut.
Shoutout to the barber who always trusts his gut.
Reminder: Get more haircuts, not just hair cuts.
Le Story βοΈ
Last week, as Malwande served me coffee, he saw a sheet of paper in my hands.
βSpeech?β he asked.
βFinal one of the year,β I said.
βGood luck,β he said.
βThank you,β I replied. βAlmost there!β
βWe have a saying,β he said. βSukhwaza usesehlathini.β
βWhat does that mean?β I asked.
βIf you are still in the jungle, donβt shout.β
βOnly shout when youβre in the clear.β
Le Neigh from Philosophical Horse π΄
βNeigh.β β Philosophical Horse.

Best advice?
I have a younger brother (by 12 years!) who is wise beyond his years, and advises me to go and read when sibling complexities get too complex.
We are a family of avid readers, and are always immersed in a current much-anticipated BOOK.
So when Iβm ranting about perceived stupidity, my brother tells me to go and read my book π
Works every time π₯°π₯°
A big congratulations for emerging from the jungle and giving your speech! π£οΈ Youβre bound to venture into many more jungles over the course of your lifetime, but when youβve navigated one, the rest donβt seem as daunting π¦₯πΏ
